The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services’ Budget 2023 Consultation is now open.
British Columbians are invited to share their suggestions for the 2023 provincial budget by providing written comments or filling out an online survey by Friday, June 24, 2022, at 3 p.m. (Pacific time).
Public hearings are also being held beginning Monday, June 6 with the presentation of the Budget 2023 Consultation Paper by the Minister of Finance. The Committee will carefully consider all input received and intends to release its report with recommendations for the next budget in August.

The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services is one of ten permanent parliamentary committees established to undertake work on behalf of the Legislative Assembly. The Committee, currently made up of MLAs from government and the official opposition, holds an annual public consultation to hear from British Columbians about their ideas and priorities for the next provincial budget.
